Caroline's History

Caroline's own journey to leadership began as a youth. Her natural optimism and interest in problem solving led her to study the blueprint for a leader's life. The route promised daily doses of challenges and adventure, and Caroline followed them.

Caroline's early career path

On the advice of her teachers Caroline started her working life as a trainee Accountant in a blue chip company. She soon discovered that this was not the right career for her. In her early 20s, she moved from her home town of Newport, South Wales to London. She worked in local government for several years. During this time she studied for her law degree part time whilst working full time.

She then worked as a paralegal within a variety of law firms including top City and large West End firms and a small sole practice. She got a lucky break by landing a prestigious training position with SJ Berwin one of the top law firms in the City of London.

Caroline thoroughly enjoyed her time at SJ Berwin but when the firm began to grow at a very fast rate she didn't want to become a cog in a wheel so she left to start her own law practice. The firm was successful in that all its clients were satisfied. However, Caroline found the excessive bureaucracy and administrative requirements of running a law practice to be unrewarding.

A major change of direction

Caroline loves people and working with and helping clients so she took the very brave decision to close the practice. By this time she had continued her journey to personal growth and development. She had attended many seminars, workshops, read hundreds of books and listened to many CDs and mp3s on personal development, growth, and wealth creation.

At times, on her journey, Caroline lost faith in herself and her abilities as a leader. However, each time, with the help of a group of amazing friends, a fantastic coach and an awesome peer group she got back on track.

Caroline realized that leadership isn't always about making money or taking charge. Leadership also includes creating community, shared energy, and commitment. So Caroline began to integrate her own growth with the growth of leaders and society. She saw the interdependent responsibility business and civic leaders share in today's harried, environmentally fragile age. A company's impact on the environment, the well-being of its employees, its image in the community - they are interlinked, and improved, by the wisdom and conscientious action of bold leaders.

Divine Results Limited and her other companies are the result of that personal journey.

Caroline became fascinated with why certain people were successful and yet others lived lives of mediocrity. She decided that she would no longer live a life of mediocrity. She spent many years studying the lives of successful people and top achievers, to study the critical differences that set these people apart.

She has applied these learning to her own life and began a personal revolution, creating the life a few years before he could only dream of. Caroline is a Corporate Trainer and an executive coach who specialises in professional development and leadership coaching for lawyers in both the public and private sectors.

Caroline works with lawyers at all levels of experience and her coaching practice is national in scope. She has appeared on numerous radio programmes. She has conducted seminars for a range of organizations including The Law Society, The Bar Council, ILEX, the RICS, The Howard League, the National Bar Association, The American Bar Association, the Trainee Solicitors Group and the Young Solicitors Group.

Prior to founding Divine Results, Caroline practised law with SJ Berwin and also ran her own successful practice where her practice focused on providing first class legal services to business clients. This included employment law advice as well as drafting legal documentation and commercial property transactions.

Caroline received a Masters degree from University of London and studied the Legal Practice course at College of Law London. She is a certified trainer in the Art and Science of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). She is a certified Leadership Consultant, Life and Executive Coach and Facilitator with Life Success Productions.

Caroline started her working career in the accounting profession working for a FTSE 100 company and these skills are still invaluable today. Caroline had a very successful career as a Policy Manager in local government where she helped to transform systems. She also worked as a Project Manager for a national charity. Whist there she co-wrote and edited a book on how to divert mentally ill people from the Criminal justice system. Caroline went on to qualify as a solicitor with one of the top law firms in the UK. Caroline later set up her own law firm and training company. Caroline now combines her experience in professional practice, solid business acumen, emotional intelligence and business coaching skills to provide first class coaching services to her clients. Caroline has the knowledge and experience to help you grow your business fast.

Referral Philosophy

Most seminar companies offer referral programs. Mine does too. If anyone you refer to me signs up for any of my seminars, or if anyone mentions your name before they sign up, we will pay you 10 percent of the tuition as a way of saying "thank you."

However, I personally feel that the referral fee should be the LAST reason you send me a referral. I want you to send me referrals because in your heart you believe I have the best training out there.

When someone comes to my seminar upon your referral, I will do everything in my power to give them such an amazing course that they will call you up and say, "Thank you for sending me to Caroline, it changed my life!"

Training Philosophy

My goal is to make the learning environment so enjoyable that you feel like it's a vacation. After all, we remember the laughter and enjoyment of life, not the boredom.

I want you to learn in a down-to-earth, practical way. At the end of each seminar, I share a form where you can rate your level of competency in each category. Using this quantitative feedback, I can modify each segment of the course the next day to heighten your level of learning. And unlike many seminar companies, I actually do read the feedback forms!

Many schools of NLP throw volumes of information at you in minutes. (After all, if you don't get it, you'll need to plunk down more money and take the training again.) Other programmers get so caught up in minute details that you never see the big picture.

When I teach, I take a middle road. I realize that most people won't want to commit a weekend a month every other month for a year of their life. It may be burdensome, or too costly. I also understand that rushing you in and out in a few days with the expectancy of comprehension is unrealistic. So our trainings are conducted in 7 day intervals, with the expectation that you will attend ongoing courses to further your education.
