Caroline is here to be of service to you. Caroline has been a lawyer for 20 years and a business owner since 2004. She’s been coaching and providing consultation services to lawyers for 10 years. She qualified as a professional actor in 2014 and has appeared in several shows, commercials and corporate training videos. She is a Speaker and author of several books, EBooks and on line learning programmes. She regularly runs events for entrepreneurs and business owners. She is mother of two awesome boys and stepmother to another two amazing boys.
Caroline served for eight years as a member of the Law Society's Council, the governing body for Solicitors. Caroline chaired the Law Society’s Equality and Diversity Committee for four years and was a judge of the annual Diversity Awards and Diversity Access Scheme. She sat on the Investigation Committee for the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales for four years.
She chaired the Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee for 5 years. Caroline is the inaugural chair of the Ethnic Minority Lawyers' Division of the Law Society of England and Wales, She is the founder and Patron of the African-Caribbean Women Lawyers; Association, a community interest company, which helps black female lawyers around the world to network and assist each other in their careers. Caroline has climbed Kilimanjaro to help to build a school for Masaai in Tanzania, jumped from aeroplanes to raise funds, and travelled to Borneo to help save orang-utans by planting trees in the rainforest. She volunteers as a news presenter, actor and all round helper at her church.
Caroline was a Trustee of the Howard League charity for over 15 years and Vice-Chair of its Law Management Committee.She campaigns against Gender Based Violence and Female Genital Mutilation.
Caroline enjoys keeping fit by working out and dancing. She loves to ski and to travel, especially to warm climates. She is passionate about her own personal development and regularly attends seminars on self-development, wealth creation, and business development. Her other interests include spending time with her children and partner, reading, going to the theatre, singing in a choir and acting and performing.
She is a qualified NLP trainer, so her key tips for a successful life are: deal with all your limiting beliefs and negative self image; re-educate yourself to remember you are a genius; programme your unconscious mind to work for you, not against you; set goals for all areas of your life, have a plan, work the plan; review the plan and continue working the plan.
